Sinus congestion refers to blockage of one or more of the four pairs of sinuses in the skull. Sinus congestion is commonly caused by inflammation of nasal tissues and mucus buildup. Symptoms of sinus congestion include cough, runny nose, and pressure, tenderness and/or pain in the eyebrow and temple regions.
